Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced, passionate, and result-oriented Business Development Manager to drive net-new customer acquisition for AWS through aggressive outbound prospecting. This role is focused purely on hunting new logos, building a robust sales pipeline, and closing high-value B2B enterprise deals. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, a consistent deal-closer, and a relationship builder with a proven track record in cold outreach, enterprise prospecting, and cloud revenue generation.

 

Job Qualifications

Professional Experience: 5–8 years of direct experience selling AWS Solutions and Services to enterprise customers.

Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field.

Proven Track Record: Demonstrated ability to consistently achieve or exceed aggressive sales targets in the Cloud/SaaS space.

Network: A strong existing industry network and established relationships with C-level contacts in the Bangalore/India market.

Sales Acumen: Expertise in solution selling, value-based selling, and managing long-term enterprise sales cycles.

Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.

Mindset: High degree of self-motivation, integrity, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.

Experience Requirements:

Key Responsibilities

New Revenue Acquisition: Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities for AWS Cloud Solutions and Services.

Full Sales Cycle Management: Lead the end-to-end sales process—from initial lead generation and cold outreach to proposal preparation, high-stakes negotiation, and final closure.

Target Achievement: Consistently meet and exceed monthly/quarterly revenue targets and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).

C-Level Engagement: Build and maintain high-trust relationships with multi-level decision-makers (CTOs, CIOs, IT Directors).

Consultative Selling: Understand complex client requirements and collaborate with technical teams to propose customized AWS-based solutions.

Post-Sale Transition: Ensure a seamless handoff to technical and delivery teams for successful customer onboarding.

CRM Discipline: Maintain an accurate and up-to-date sales pipeline and forecasting reports within the CRM system.

Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor activities, and the evolving AWS ecosystem.
