Content Operations Manager – Gaming Platform (Remote)

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Management

Conduct regular 1:1 coaching sessions with team leads

Set KPIs, quality benchmarks, and clear performance expectations

Identify high performers and create growth opportunities

Manage workload distribution and team capacity planning

Resolve operational bottlenecks and escalations quickly

Deliver weekly performance and operations reports

Build a culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement

QA Testing Operations

Manage the QA testing queue end-to-end

Ensure proper coverage while maintaining flexible team scheduling

Monitor testing metrics and improve operational efficiency

Improve testing workflows, SOPs, and quality processes

Maintain high-quality standards across all testing operations

Interactive Maps Operations

Oversee the full map production pipeline from creation to publication

Prioritize game coverage based on player demand and usability

Standardize pin templates and content guidelines

Track production metrics and optimize delivery timelines

Ensure map quality and consistency at scale

People Operations

Support hiring, onboarding, and contractor management processes

Collaborate on compensation evaluations and recruiting improvements

Coordinate PTO, OT, and holiday coverage planning

Improve onboarding consistency across operational teams

Support engagement initiatives, all-hands meetings, and team surveys

Team Building & Scaling

Build new content production teams as business needs grow

Define roles, hiring processes, SOPs, and onboarding structures

Scale existing teams without compromising quality

Design operational structures that support flexibility and specialization

Anticipate future operational requirements alongside leadership teams

Cross-Functional Coordination

Act as the bridge between product, engineering, and operations teams

Coordinate with Support, Content, Video, and Game Operations teams

Share operational insights and performance trends

Identify efficiency improvements across departments

Strategic Initiatives & Process Innovation

Lead quarterly operational improvement initiatives

Redesign workflows using automation and AI tools

Build scalable systems to reduce repetitive manual tasks

Drive process optimization using data and operational analysis

Operational Excellence

Create and maintain SOPs, training documentation, and workflows

Implement tools to improve communication and productivity

Conduct regular team health and engagement check-ins

Identify bottlenecks and resolve root-cause operational issues

Ensure all operational decisions are documented properly

Required Qualifications

2+ years of operations management experience

Minimum 2 years managing offshore or remote teams directly

Experience managing Philippines or Southeast Asia-based teams

Proven experience building teams, SOPs, and operational workflows from scratch

Experience managing multiple operational functions simultaneously

Strong recruiting and talent assessment skills

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Strong analytical and data-driven operational mindset

Experience using AI tools for workflow automation and operational efficiency

Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)

Ability to collaborate across different time zones with US overlap

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in gaming operations, QA management, or content operations

Startup or high-growth company experience

Background in content production workflows
