Primary Responsibilities :
Hiring for AGro Chemical company -THree decades old Indian MNC with extensive global presence in 70 countries, 6 international offices, exclusive distribution networks in India, Russia and C.I.S and West Africa.
Job Description 1. Total Purchases of Raw Materials/ Packing Material for uninterrupted
functioning of the factory.
2. Handle procurement cycles, lead times and purchasing requirements for
Agrochemicals in a timely, satisfactory and cost effective manner
3. Should be able to suggest cost effective purchase through various initiatives.
4. Efficient Purchases based on facts & figures.
5. Evaluate & support in Negotiations of purchases.
6. Set up material planning rolling forecast system in coordination with
production heads.
7. Vendor development, approval & rating.
8. Cost reduction through development of alternate suppliers and alternate
materials.
9. Interface with Quality Assurance for Vendor Selection and qualification
10. Control cost by continuously pursuing and exploring cost reduction
opportunities like Strategic sourcing activity, price re-negotiation, opportunity
buying, alternate vendor development, material substitution, packaging
material cost reduction.
11. Set up quality parameters both in terms of materials & logistics.
12. Negotiate best suppliers, quality, prices & service providers
13. Coordination & follow up with suppliers for timely execution of factory orders.

4. Worked as Senior Managerial Level in Agrochemical / Pesticides industry
only.

Experience Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA is preferred.
Experience:
- Extensive experience in procurement or supply chain management, with a minimum of [X] years in a managerial role.
- Proven track record in strategic sourcing and supplier management.
Skills:
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools (e.g., ERP systems).
Knowledge:
- In-depth understanding of purchasing processes, inventory management, and market trends.
- Familiarity with compliance and regulatory requirements related to procurement.
Strategic Thinking:
- Ability to develop and implement procurement strategies that align with organizational goals.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address supply chain challenges.
Communication:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Teamwork:
- Ability to work collaboratively with other departments, including finance, production, and logistics.
Language:
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of local languages is an advantage.
