Primary Responsibilities :
Accountant Key Responsibilities:
1. Inventory & Warehouse Accounting
• Maintain and reconcile physical stock with accounting systems (ERP/Tally/SAP).
• Monitor inward and outward stock movements and validate documentation (GRNs, delivery notes, invoices).
• Track and value damaged, expired, or returned goods.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and yearly stock audits.
2. Financial Transactions & Compliance
• Record and verify vendor invoices, purchase orders, and delivery notes.
• Ensure timely and accurate posting of goods received and goods issued.
• Support in monthly closings and preparation of financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements.
3. Reporting & Analysis
• Generate daily/weekly/monthly reports on inventory, dispatches, and stock valuations.
• Provide financial data support to logistics and warehouse teams.
4. Coordination & Documentation
• Maintain records of RTVs (Return to Vendor), stock transfers, and inter-location stock movements.
• Ensure all warehouse documentation is accurate and archived properly.
Experience Requirements:
Key Requirements:
• Education: B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or CA Inter preferred
• Experience: 3–5 years in warehouse or distribution accounting, preferably in apparel or retail
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in Tally ERP / SAP / Microsoft Excel
• Understanding of inventory modules in ERP systems
• Working knowledge of GST and statutory compliance
• Other Skills:
• Strong attention to detail
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities
• Good communication and coordination skills
