Position - PV Consultant
Job Location - On site as per project requirement.
Job Summary
Responsible for conducting inspection and quality assurance activities for solar PV modules and
related systems as per industry standards and client requirements. Need to carry out visual,
mechanical, and electrical inspections at various manufacturing sites. Ensure compliance with
technical specifications and reporting formats. Contribute to maintaining high standards of quality and
reliability in solar products. Gain hands-on experience in PV technology, inspection processes, and
quality control systems to support long-term growth and client satisfaction.
Experience Requirements:
3. Roles & Responsibilities
1. Conduct Pre-Dispatch Inspections (PDI) and in-line quality checks of solar PV modules at
manufacturing sites.
2. Verify compliance of materials and products with client specifications, industry standards
(e.g., IEC), and established quality norms.
3. Perform inspection and testing activities including EL testing, IV curve testing, Hi-pot, wet
leakage, and mechanical load tests.
4. Monitor and verify Bill of Materials (BOM) usage during production to ensure traceability
and compliance.
5. Conduct sampling, witness testing, and ensure correct implementation of statistical quality
control methods.
6. Document findings, prepare detailed inspection reports, and maintain accurate inspection
records.
7. Report non-conformities (NCs), follow up on corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and

8. Coordinate with manufacturing, QA, and supplier teams to resolve quality issues observed
during inspections.
9. Verify calibration status of inspection and testing equipment before use.
10. Monitor environmental conditions in the manufacturing line (temperature, humidity,
cleanliness) to ensure compliance.
11. Support third-party inspections and client audits at manufacturing sites.
12. Always ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and standard operating procedures.
13. Maintain proper communication and reporting with clients regarding inspection status and
findings.
14. Support continuous improvement initiatives in quality assurance processes and suggest
improvements in inspection methodology.
15. Stay updated with latest IEC/UL/IS standards and PV technology advancements to
apply in inspections.
