Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic Investment Banking – Fund Raising Associate to support equity and debt fund-raising mandates. The role involves a balanced mix of front-end investor interaction and backend deal execution, including documentation, analysis, and transaction closure. The ideal candidate should possess strong financial acumen, excellent communication skills, and hands-on deal execution experience.
Qualifications
MBA (Finance) / CA / CFA / CA-Inter / Finance Graduate
2–5 years of relevant experience in Investment Banking, Fund Raising, PE/VC, or Corporate Finance
Preferred Experience
Exposure to equity and/or debt fund-raising transactions
Experience working with investors, funds, or financial institutions
Hands-on experience in preparing IMs, pitch decks, and data rooms
Experience Requirements:
Key Responsibilities
Front-End: Fund Raising & Investor Interaction
Support fund-raising mandates across Private Equity, Venture Capital, Debt, and Structured Finance
Assist in preparing and delivering investment pitches to investors, family offices, funds, and HNIs
Coordinate investor meetings, calls, and follow-ups
Support senior bankers in deal origination, client pitching, and mandate acquisition
Maintain and nurture relationships with investors, funds, and intermediaries
Track investor feedback and manage the end-to-end fund-raising cycle
Backend: Deal Execution & Transaction Support
Prepare Information Memorandums (IMs), Pitch Decks, Teasers, and Financial Models
Perform financial analysis, valuation, and industry research
Support due diligence processes (financial, legal, and commercial)
Prepare and manage data rooms, deal trackers, and MIS reports
Coordinate with legal, compliance, and internal teams for transaction documentation
Assist in drafting and execution of term sheets and transaction documents
Support deal closure and post-transaction activities
Research & Analysis
Conduct industry research, company profiling, and benchmarking
Analyze financial statements, projections, and business models
Prepare internal deal notes, investment summaries, and management presentations
Reporting & Compliance
Maintain deal pipelines, investor databases, and transaction trackers
Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines and internal processes
Support post-deal documentation, reporting, and compliance requirements
Required Skills
Strong understanding of Investment Banking and Fund Raising processes
Proficiency in financial modeling, valuation, and MS Excel
Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage both client-facing responsibilities and backend execution
Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
