Role Overview

The Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) will be responsible for defining and executing the company’s overall marketing vision. This role will lead brand strategy, digital and performance marketing, demand generation, and sales enablement, with a strong focus on scaling marketing operations to drive business growth, qualified leads, and market visibility in global IT services markets.

 

Qualifications

MBA / Post-Graduate degree in Marketing or a related field (preferred)

10–15+ years of marketing experience with significant exposure to the IT industry

Prior experience as Head of Marketing / VP Marketing / CMO in a technology company is highly desirable

Lead generation volume and quality

Brand visibility, engagement, and market presence

Website traffic growth and conversion rate improvement

Marketing ROI and CAC optimization

Campaign effectiveness and sales pipeline influence

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with business objectives

Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and define go-to-market (GTM) strategies

Drive budget planning, resource allocation, and ROI-based decision making

Branding & Market Positioning

Build and strengthen the company’s brand presence across global markets

Establish and maintain brand communication guidelines and messaging consistency

Lead PR initiatives, media relations, industry awards, events, and partnerships

Digital & Performance Marketing

Plan and manage performance marketing campaigns across SEO/SEM, Google Ads, LinkedIn, email, and paid media

Optimize website performance for traffic growth, engagement, and lead conversion

Implement marketing automation, lead scoring, and nurturing workflows

Lead Generation & Sales Alignment

Design, scale, and optimize lead-generation funnels

Collaborate closely with sales teams to ensure seamless lead handover and conversions

Track and improve the MQL → SQL → Deal Closure pipeline using data-driven insights

Content & Product Marketing

Oversee creation of blogs, whitepapers, case studies, presentations, videos, and sales collateral

Drive product and service launch campaigns with targeted messaging

Develop persona-based marketing assets and customer success stories

Analytics & Reporting

Define and track marketing KPIs including traffic, conversions, CAC, and ROI

Build dashboards and lead monthly performance reviews

Continuously optimize campaigns and strategies based on data insights

Skills & Competencies

Proven leadership experience in IT / Tech / SaaS marketing

Strong business acumen with a growth-oriented and ROI-focused mindset

Deep expertise in demand generation, branding, and digital marketing

Strong team leadership and stakeholder management capabilities

Hands-on experience with marketing and analytics tools such as CRM, HubSpot, Google Analytics, SEM tools, and design platforms
