Role Summary
The Lead – Sales will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing key client relationships, driving revenue growth, and ensuring strong technical and commercial support for Transmission & Distribution conductors and OPGW in the USA market.
This role requires strong technical understanding, market expertise, and proven sales leadership capability.
Competency Profile
1. Knowledge
10+ years of sales/business development experience in cable, conductor, or electrical segment (preferably aluminium/alloy conductors or OPGW)
Proven track record of achieving/exceeding sales targets in technical/industrial products
Strong understanding of utility and EPC business environment
Proficiency in CRM tools, Microsoft Office, and sales reporting platforms
Willingness to travel domestically for client meetings and industry events

Identify and develop new business opportunities
Expand market presence across utilities and EPC customers
2. End-to-End Sales Management
Manage complete sales cycle from order booking to collection
Ensure timely execution and payment realization
3. Utility Approvals
Secure product approvals with utilities and transmission authorities
Coordinate technical documentation and compliance requirements
4. Representative Appointment
Identify, appoint, and manage regional representatives/agents
Monitor performance and market coverage
5. Market Intelligence
Track competitor activities, pricing trends, and market developments
Provide strategic inputs for pricing and positioning
6. Key Account Management (KAM)
Build and maintain long-term relationships with key customers
