Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced commercial professional from the freight forwarding or logistics industry with strong expertise in agent relationship management, cross-trade operations, and commercial negotiations.
The candidate should have solid knowledge of air freight, ocean freight, and network-based logistics models, along with the ability to manage international agent partnerships independently.
Requirements
4–6 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or the broader supply chain industry.
Strong knowledge of air freight, ocean freight, and cross-trade operations.
Proven experience managing agent relationships, conducting commercial negotiations, and operating within network-based logistics environments.
Ability to work independently with strong ownership and accountability.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to align revenue objectives with operational realities.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience working with international freight forwarding networks.
Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.

Agent Relationship & Network Development Manager
Key Responsibilities
Own and develop commercial relationships with a portfolio of strategic international agent partners, ensuring retention, sustainable growth, and long-term collaboration.
Work exclusively with international agents (no direct engagement with shippers or consignees), supporting cross-trade and network-driven business models.
Identify, evaluate, and onboard new agent partners to expand trade lane coverage and drive business growth.
Manage and resolve escalations related to pricing, service performance, or contractual matters, maintaining strong and professional relationships.
Evaluate, manage, and contribute to freight forwarding network memberships, ensuring alignment with commercial and operational objectives.
Lead and support commercial contract negotiations, balancing service quality, cost control, operational capabilities, and partner expectations.
Grow existing agent accounts by identifying new business opportunities and improving overall commercial performance.
Serve as the primary commercial point of contact for assigned agent partners.
Collaborate closely with internal operations and leadership teams to ensure commercially agreed solutions are operationally feasible and efficiently executed.
