Job Summary

The Logistics Coordinator/Manager will be responsible for overseeing, coordinating, and optimizing the company’s logistics operations. This role includes managing inventory, transportation, and warehouse activities while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and service standards. The ideal candidate should have strong organizational skills, an analytical mindset, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

 

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

3–5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a similar role.

Strong understanding of logistics processes and supply chain management.

Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

Proficiency in logistics software and inventory management systems.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience Requirements:

Key Responsibilities

1. Supply Chain Management

Manage and coordinate all logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.

Develop and implement supply chain strategies to maximize efficiency and reduce operational costs.

2. Transportation Coordination

Schedule and oversee transportation of goods to ensure timely delivery.

Negotiate contracts and rates with carriers to obtain the best service at the lowest cost.

3. Inventory Management

Monitor inventory levels and manage replenishment processes to avoid stock shortages or overstocking.

Implement inventory tracking systems to maintain accurate stock visibility.

4. Warehouse Management

Supervise daily warehouse operations including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.

Optimize warehouse layout and operational processes to improve efficiency and safety.

5. Regulatory Compliance

Ensure logistics operations comply with local and national regulations, safety standards, and documentation requirements.

Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory, and compliance documents.

6. Collaboration & Communication

Coordinate with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to manage logistics activities effectively.

Act as the main point of contact for logistics-related issues and queries.

7. Performance Analysis & Reporting

Analyze logistics data and KPIs to identify operational improvements.

Prepare logistics performance reports and present insights to management.

8. Continuous Improvement

Implement best practices to enhance logistics processes and workflows.

Explore technology solutions to improve operational efficiency.
