Job Description (JD)
Role Overview:
We are looking for 6 skilled Reach Stacker Operators to manage container handling in the terminal yard and rail sidings. The operator must be proficient in stacking containers in blocks and moving them to and from trailers with high precision.
Experience Requirements:
Key Responsibilities:
Equipment Operation: Operate heavy-duty Reach Stackers (e.g., Kalmar, Konecranes, or Hyster) to lift and stack 20ft and 40ft containers.
Stacking Management: Execute "Block Stacking" up to 5 high, ensuring stability and organized yard layout.
Safety & Inspection: Conduct daily "First Use" inspections of the spreader, hydraulics, and engine; report any leaks or malfunctions immediately.
Precision Loading: Accurately load and unload containers from terminal trailers and external trucks.
TOS Integration: Follow instructions from the Terminal Operating System (TOS) via on-board radio or data terminals.
Candidate Requirements:
Experience: Minimum 3+ years of experience specifically operating Reach Stackers in a port, ICD (Inland Container Depot), or large logistics terminal.
License: Valid UAE Heavy Equipment License (Category 8) or equivalent recognized international certification.
Technical Skill: Deep understanding of load charts, safety limits, and spreader operations.
Language: Basic English for operational communication and safety reporting.
