Key Roles & Responsibilities
End-to-End Machine Setup: Perform comprehensive "make-ready" including mounting stereo plates, setting slotting knives, adjusting folding rails, and calibrating the glue application system.
Multi-Stage Quality Control: Ensure high standards across all phases:
Printing: Accurate color registration and ink density.
Slotting: Precise depth and gap alignment.
Folding/Gluing: Square boxes with no "fishtailing" and strong adhesive bonds.
High-Speed Optimization: Monitor and maintain maximum rated machine speeds while minimizing wastage during startup and run-time.
In-Process Inspection: Conduct regular measurements of box dimensions (L x W x H) and check glue tab strength to meet customer specifications.
Technical Maintenance: Lead routine cleaning of anilox rollers and glue heads; perform basic troubleshooting of sensors and mechanical jams.
Lean Standards: Strictly follow 5S workplace organization, safety protocols, and TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) schedules to reduce unplanned downtime.
