Relocation: Mandatory (for outstation candidates)

1. Role Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Accountant for a fast-growing, inventory-led spare parts business. You will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting, inventory tracking, GST compliance, and MIS reporting. This role requires strong system discipline and the ability to coordinate across store and sales teams to ensure books and physical stock are perfectly aligned.

Receivables & Payables Management

Manage customer aging and collections follow-up; ensure billing stays within approved credit limits.

Perform periodic vendor ledger reconciliations and plan payments to ensure supply continuity.

Reporting & Audit Readiness

Prepare routine MIS: daily sales/collections, vendor/customer aging, and stock summaries.

Ensure all entries follow SOPs and that books remain audit-ready at all times.

2. Key Responsibilities

Core Accounting & Reconciliation

Manage end-to-end accounting: purchase/sales entries, payments, receipts, and journals.

Perform daily reconciliation of cash, bank, and UPI transactions.

Track customer and vendor outstandings with timely closure of pending items.

Inventory & Stock Control

Maintain SKU-level inventory accounting, ensuring correct system flow from inwarding to billing.

Control stock-related exceptions (adjustments, mismatches, kits/assemblies).

Support periodic physical stock counts and provide detailed variance reporting.

Compliance & Tax

Ensure GST compliance: correct HSN usage, invoice accuracy, and ITC reconciliation.

Support timely filing of GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B; manage e-way bills and statutory requirements.
