Primary Responsibilities :
Job Responsibilities:
Assist in overseeing production and processing of liquid milk and milk-based products.
Support monthly production planning and ensure effective utilization of resources.
Monitor shop floor activities to maintain discipline, safety, and smooth operations.
Assist in standardization processes for different types of milk.
Coordinate with maintenance and quality teams to minimize downtime and ensure
smooth functioning of plant equipment.
Help control production losses and maintain them within budgeted limits.
Support cost control initiatives through efficient use of manpower, materials, and
machinery.
Ensure production targets are achieved as per quality standards and timelines.
Track daily, weekly, and monthly production losses and assist in implementing
improvement plans.
Assist in improving equipment efficiency and reducing wastage of raw materials and
consumables.
Participate in daily operational review meetings with Production, Maintenance, and
Quality teams.
Support stock verification and inventory control in coordination with stores and accounts
team.
Assist in root cause analysis for breakdowns, quality issues, and production
inefficiencies.
Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, ISO, and standard operating procedures.
Support implementation of best manufacturing practices and continuous improvement
initiatives.
Coordinate with maintenance team for planned shutdowns, preventive maintenance, and
CIP activities.
Assist in achieving production targets within defined cost and time parameters.
Support optimization of manpower and machine utilization on the shop floor.
Follow technical guidelines and SOPs as per FSSAI and company standards.
Experience Requirements:
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Masters/ Bachelors Dairy Technology / Food Technology.
5–8 years of experience in dairy/food processing industry.
Basic understanding of dairy processing operations and plant equipment.
Familiarity with quality systems like GMP, HACCP, and ISO standards.
