Role Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Estimation Engineer responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for projects. The candidate will play a key role in analyzing project requirements, evaluating costs, and supporting the sales and project teams with precise estimations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil/Mechanical or related field preferred)
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- Experience in handling project estimations independently
- Familiarity with industry standards and pricing trends
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Experience Requirements:
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze project specifications, drawings, and scope to prepare cost estimates
- Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and detailed cost breakdowns
- Evaluate material, labor, and overhead costs
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for quotations
- Assist in tender preparation and submission
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize project budgets
- Maintain estimation records and documentation for future reference
- Work closely with project, procurement, and sales teams
Key Skills & Requirements:
- Strong understanding of estimation and costing techniques
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Proficiency in MS Excel and estimation tools/software
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and coordination abilities
- Attention to detail and accuracy
