Job Summary

The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for supervising daily housekeeping operations, ensuring cleanliness, hygiene, and maintenance standards are maintained across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas. The candidate will coordinate with housekeeping staff and other departments to ensure excellent guest satisfaction and smooth operations.

Experience Requirements:

Key Responsibilities

Supervise daily cleaning operations of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas

Allocate duties to housekeeping staff and prepare daily work schedules

Inspect rooms and common areas to ensure cleanliness and quality standards are maintained

Coordinate with the Front Office regarding room status, check-ins, and check-outs

Train and guide housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures and service standards

Handle guest requests and resolve housekeeping-related complaints professionally

Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linen, and guest amenities

Ensure proper use and maintenance of cleaning equipment

Maintain hygiene and safety standards as per hotel policies

Report maintenance issues to the concerned department promptly

Maintain housekeeping records, reports, and operational documentation

Education Qualification

Graduation preferred

Relevant housekeeping or hospitality certification will be an added advantage

Required Skills & Competencies

Communication Skills

Good verbal communication skills

Ability to coordinate effectively with team members and other departments

Languages Known

Basic English and Hindi preferred
