Accountant

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain financial reports and accounting records

Compile and analyze financial information for asset, liability, and capital account entries

Record financial transactions and maintain accurate documentation

Prepare balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and other financial reports

Reconcile financial discrepancies and verify account information

Audit financial documents and transactions for accuracy

Maintain accounting controls, policies, and procedures

Process payments and verify supporting documentation

Ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements

Prepare special financial and analytical reports as required

Maintain database backups and financial data security

Coordinate with internal teams and guide accounting support staff

Support management with financial insights and recommendations

Maintain confidentiality of financial and organizational information

Required Skills

Strong accounting and bookkeeping knowledge

Financial reporting and reconciliation skills

Knowledge of statutory and taxation compliance

Analytical and problem-solving abilities

Attention to detail and accuracy

Good communication and coordination skills

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
