Primary Responsibilities :
1. End-to-End Payroll Processing
- Manage the complete payroll cycle from data collection to salary disbursement.
- Process monthly payroll inputs including:
- Attendance
- Leave records
- Overtime
- Incentives
- Arrears
- Deductions
- Ensure accurate and timely salary processing every month.
2. HR Data Management
- Maintain and update employee records in HRMS/HRIS systems.
- Ensure payroll data accuracy and confidentiality.
- Coordinate with HR teams for:
- New joiners
- Employee transfers
- Promotions
- Exits
- Employee master data updates
3. Statutory Compliance
- Manage statutory compliance related to:
- Provident Fund (PF)
- ESIC
- Professional Tax (PT)
- Tax Deducted at Source (TDS)
- Gratuity
- Prepare and submit monthly and annual statutory returns.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and payroll regulations.
4. Salary Processing & Coordination
- Coordinate with Finance and Banking teams for salary disbursement.
- Ensure timely salary credits without errors.
- Process Full & Final (F&F) settlements for exiting employees.
5. Onboarding & Exit Management
- Set up payroll records for new employees.
- Validate employee payroll data before onboarding.
- Handle exit payroll processing and final settlements.
6. Employee Documentation
- Prepare and issue:
- Salary Certificates
- Compensation Letters
- Experience Letters
- Payroll-related documents
- Maintain payroll records and documentation.
7. Attendance & Leave Administration
- Validate attendance and leave records.
- Monitor shift schedules and payroll-related attendance data.
- Ensure accurate leave balance management.
8. Payroll Reconciliation & Reporting
- Conduct payroll reconciliation and variance analysis.
- Generate:
- Salary Reports
- MIS Reports
- Cost Analysis Reports
- Payroll Summaries
- Support management reporting requirements.
9. Employee Query Resolution
- Handle employee concerns related to:
- Salary discrepancies
- Deductions
- Reimbursements
- Arrears
- Tax-related queries
- Ensure timely resolution of payroll issues.
10. HR Policy & Audit Support
- Ensure payroll processes comply with company policies.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Maintain payroll documentation for compliance reviews.
- Recommend improvements to payroll processes and systems
Experience Requirements:
Experience
- 5–7 years of experience in payroll operations.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in HR, Business Administration, Commerce, or related field.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of:
- Payroll Processing
- PF
- ESIC
- Professional Tax
- TDS
- Gratuity
- Labor Law Compliance
- Hands-on experience with HRMS and Payroll Software.
- Advanced MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Formulas, Reports, etc.).
