Proposal cum Project Engineer

Proposal & Tender Management

• Prepare techno-commercial proposals and tender submissions for STP, WTP, ETP, UF, RO, and DM plant projects.
• Review tender documents, specifications, BOQs, drawings, and client requirements.
• Develop cost estimations, project budgets, and risk assessments.
• Coordinate with sales, service, and engineering teams for proposal preparation.
• Attend technical and commercial meetings with clients, consultants, and government authorities.
• Prepare bid documentation and ensure timely submission of proposals.
• Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, and industry developments.
• Prepare project handover documents and post-order correspondence.

Project Engineering & Execution

• Design and develop water and wastewater treatment solutions.
• Prepare process designs for STP, WTP, ETP, RO, UF, and DM plants.
• Design sewage treatment systems using MBBR, MBR, and SBR technologies.
• Support procurement, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, and technical deliverables.
• Provide technical guidance to site engineers and project teams.
• Coordinate project execution activities with clients, consultants, and vendors.

Equipment Selection & Technical Evaluation

• Select and size pumps, blowers, compressors, agitators, and other rotating equipment.
• Review vendor quotations and conduct technical evaluations.
• Verify vendor drawings, GA drawings, and technical documentation.
• Prepare BOQs, equipment specifications, and procurement documents.

Engineering Coordination

• Coordinate with Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, and Civil teams.
• Finalize:
  • P&ID Drawings
  • General Arrangement (GA) Drawings
  • Foundation Drawings
  • Single Line Diagrams (SLD)
• Prepare electrical load and consumption calculations.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain project records, technical documents, reports, and specifications.
• Prepare progress reports for management and clients.
• Ensure documentation complies with quality and project requirements.
• Maintain project tracking and status reports.

Client & Stakeholder Management

• Serve as a technical point of contact for clients and consultants.
• Conduct technical discussions and presentations.
• Address client queries and provide project updates.
• Identify opportunities for project expansion and additional services.

Continuous Improvement

• Stay updated on water treatment technologies and industry best practices.
• Recommend process improvements and engineering innovations.
• Contribute to standardization and optimization of proposal and project processes.
