Primary Responsibilities :

Sales & Business Development

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities with fabricators, contractors, industrial plants, EPC companies, and project customers.
  • Generate leads through field visits, networking, referrals, and market research.
  • Follow up on enquiries and convert prospects into customers.
  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets assigned by management.
  • Expand market presence across Gujarat and surrounding regions.

Client Relationship Management

  • Conduct regular customer visits to understand requirements and strengthen relationships.
  • Build long-term partnerships with key clients and decision-makers.
  • Handle customer queries and provide timely support.
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.

Technical Sales Support

  • Understand customer technical requirements related to flanges and industrial products.
  • Recommend suitable products and solutions based on application needs.
  • Coordinate with production and operations teams regarding specifications, delivery schedules, and order execution.
  • Provide technical product information and support during discussions with customers.

Order Management & Coordination

  • Prepare quotations and follow up for order closures.
  • Coordinate internally for order processing, production planning, and dispatch.
  • Monitor order status and ensure timely delivery to customers.
  • Resolve customer concerns related to product quality, delivery, or service.

Market Intelligence & Reporting

  • Track competitor activities, pricing trends, and market developments.
  • Collect customer feedback and share insights with management.
  • Maintain records of sales activities, client visits, enquiries, quotations, and order status.
  • Submit regular sales reports, pipeline updates, and market intelligence reports.
Experience Requirements:

Education

  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Production Engineering preferred.
  • B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering will be an added advantage.

Experience

  • 2–3 years of field sales experience.
  • Experience in Flanges, Pipes, Fittings, Valves, Industrial Hardware, Steel, Metal Products, or related industrial products is mandatory.

Language Requirements

  • Fluent Gujarati (Mandatory).
  • Working knowledge of Hindi and English.

Technical Knowledge

  • Understanding of industrial flanges and related metal products.
  • Ability to understand customer technical requirements and product applications.
  • Knowledge of industrial sales processes and project-based sales.

Skills Required

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship-building abilities.
  • Lead generation and business development skills.

Travel Requirements
