Primary Responsibilities :

1. Business Development

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
  • Generate new leads through market visits, networking, referrals, and industry contacts.
  • Build a strong sales pipeline to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Expand the customer base by acquiring new OEMs, Panel Builders, EPC contractors, and industrial clients.

2. Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers.
  • Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable electrical solutions.
  • Provide excellent customer service before and after sales.
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction and repeat business.

3. Consultant & OEM Coordination

  • Develop strong relationships with electrical consultants, project consultants, and design consultants.
  • Coordinate with consultants to generate business opportunities and secure project approvals.
  • Work closely with OEMs and Local Panel Builders for project execution and business expansion.

4. Product Sales

  • Promote and sell:
    • Switchboards
    • LV Switchboards
    • Electrical Distribution Panels
    • Electrical Control Panels
    • Related Electrical Products
  • Conduct product presentations and technical discussions with customers.
  • Explain product features, technical specifications, and commercial benefits.

5. Sales Planning & Execution

  • Prepare quotations and commercial proposals.
  • Negotiate pricing and commercial terms.
  • Follow up on quotations and convert inquiries into orders.
  • Achieve assigned revenue and profitability targets.

6. Market Intelligence

  • Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
  • Identify new market opportunities and emerging customer requirements.
  • Provide regular market feedback to management.

7. Sales Reporting

  • Maintain accurate sales reports and customer visit reports.
  • Update CRM with customer interactions and sales activities.
  • Prepare sales forecasts and business development reports.
Experience Requirements:

Educational Qualification

  • Diploma in Electrical Engineering OR
  • B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or related field.

Experience

  • 2–8 years of experience in field sales within the electrical industry.
  • Experience in selling:
    • Switchboards
    • LV Switchboards
    • Electrical Distribution Panels
    • Electrical Control Panels
    • Allied Electrical Products

Required Skills

Technical Skills

  • Knowledge of electrical switchboards and distribution panels.
  • Understanding of LV electrical systems.
  • Ability to understand customer technical requirements.
  • Technical product presentation skills.

  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
  • Experience in electrical switchboards, panel boards, and allied industrial products will be highly preferred.
