Primary Responsibilities :

Supplier & Vendor Management

  • Develop and execute supply base strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Build and maintain long-term supplier relationships.
  • Monitor supplier performance through KPIs such as quality, delivery, and service levels.
  • Drive supplier development and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure supplier compliance with company policies, regulatory standards, and ethical practices.

Procurement & Strategic Sourcing

  • Develop sourcing strategies for transport, warehousing, and distribution partners.
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction and value engineering.
  • Negotiate supplier contracts and commercial agreements.
  • Manage supplier lead time improvements and procurement performance.

Logistics & 3PL Management

  • Manage relationships with transporters, warehouse providers, and 3PL partners.
  • Ensure efficient freight management across air and sea transportation.
  • Optimize logistics networks and warehouse operations.
  • Improve transportation efficiency and supply chain reliability.

Performance & KPI Management

  • Track supplier KPIs including:
    • OTIF (On-Time In-Full)
    • Lead Time
    • Cost per Shipment
    • Damage Rates
    • Service Levels
  • Analyze logistics performance and prepare management reports.
  • Drive operational excellence through performance monitoring.

Cross-functional Coordination

  • Collaborate with Procurement, Operations, Planning, Dispatch, Finance, Customer Service, and Quality teams.
  • Support supply chain planning and execution.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure uninterrupted supply operations.

Risk & Compliance

  • Manage supply chain risks and supplier performance issues.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and logistics regulations.
  • Travel for supplier audits, evaluations, and relationship management.
Experience Requirements:

Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor's Degree in:
    • Supply Chain Management
    • Logistics
    • Business Administration (BBA)
    • Commerce (B.Com)
    • Or a related field

Experience Required

  • 15+ years of experience in:
    • Supply Chain Management
    • Procurement
    • Logistics
    • Vendor Management
    • Supplier Relationship Management (SRM)
    • 3PL Operations
