Primary Responsibilities :
- Dispense prescription and over-the-counter (OTC) medications accurately.
- Review prescriptions for accuracy, dosage, and potential drug interactions.
- Counsel patients on medication usage, dosage, side effects, and storage.
- Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and pharmacy transactions.
- Monitor medicine inventory, stock levels, expiry dates, and reorder requirements.
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Coordinate with doctors and healthcare professionals regarding patient prescriptions.
- Handle controlled drugs and narcotics as per legal guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper storage conditions within the pharmacy.
- Provide excellent customer service and resolve medication-related queries.
Experience Requirements:
Qualification
- Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) or Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm).
- Valid State Pharmacy Council Registration is mandatory.
Experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Pharmacist in a Hospital, Retail Pharmacy, Clinic, or Healthcare Organization.
